Nominees for Coach of the Year 2024: Leading Managers and Clubs up for Award at Ballon d'Or Gala

The coach's award will now recognize outstanding coaches in both men's and women's categories. This prestigious new award will be presented at the expanded Ballon d'Or event, which is co-organized by UEFA and Groupe Amaury, the owner of France Football.

"Together, UEFA and Groupe Amaury aim to enhance the stature and global reach of the awards while fostering a sense of unity and collaboration within the football community," a UEFA statement read last winter. 

The awards will maintain their "unchanged and independent" voting system, with UEFA contributing its expertise and managing global commercial rights. 

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin said: "UEFA and Ballon d'Or are synonyms of sporting excellence, so our partnership will be a natural blend of prominence and a synergy that promises to be nothing short of exceptional."

The nominees for the Ballon d'Or's Men's Coach of the Year  2024 will be announced on a L'Equipe live stream at 18:20 CET (12:20 ET/17:20 BST) on Wednesday, September 4.

Nominees for the women's award will be revealed on the same live stream.

The 2024 Ballon d'Or gala is due to be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France.

The ceremony is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. local time (2 p.m. ET).
