During a college function in Chennai, Jasprit Bumrah was asked about the toughest batters to bowl against internationally, and he provided a very straightforward answer.

The 30-year-old pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, remarked, “I want to give a good answer. The real factor is I don’t want anyone to take over me in my head. I respect everyone, but in my head, I tell myself that if I do my job well, there is nobody in the world that can stop me. I focus on myself rather than the opponent. I look at myself rather than the opponent. I have control over everything and If I give myself the best opportunity, everything else will take care of itself.”

Jasprit Bumrah had a great T20 World Cup 2024, winning it with India and taking the Player of the Tournament award home. He has not appeared in any series since then but is expected to return in the forthcoming series against Bangladesh that will start on September 19.
