In January 2025, Ireland will have their first-ever bilateral tour of India, playing three ODIs against India in Rajkot. This series marks a special occasion as it will be the first time Ireland women's team will tour India, showing the growing popularity and interest in women's cricket globally. Additionally, this series will also be a rare opportunity for West Indies and Ireland to face off against each other, with their last series dating back to 2006. The matches promise to be thrilling and competitive, showcasing the talent and skills of these women cricketers from around the world. Fans can look forward to an exciting series ahead as India hosts these two formidable teams.
The T20Is against West Indies are scheduled on December 15, 17 and 19 followed by the ODIs on December 22, 24 and 27. The three Ireland ODIs are set to be played on January 10, 12 and 15. Both ODI series will be part of the ICC Women's Championship. According to the FTP, Ireland were also scheduled to play a three-match T20I series in India along with the ODIs but the official BCCI release on Wednesday only mentioned the ODI series.
