With a total of over 5,000 players in NBA history, there is at least one player born on every day of the calendar year – including three born on leap day. Our detailed breakdown showcases the players born on each day of the year.
Below are the most notable NBA players born on Sept 23.
Brandon Jennings (Sept. 23, 1989):
Jennings was the 10th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by Milwaukee, where he played five of his nine NBA seasons, and made an immediate impact. In his seventh NBA game,
Jennings erupted for a record-breaking 55 points

In 555 career games with the Bucks, Pistons, Magic, Knicks and Wizards, Jennings totaled 7,801 points (14.1 ppg), 1,659 rebounds (3.0 rpg) and 3,151 assists (5.7 apg).
