Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George has been ruled out for the next six weeks after undergoing injections in both his left adductor muscle and left knee, the team announced. As a result, George will be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season.

The nine-time All-Star joined Philadelphia this offseason as a free agent and struggled to find a rhythm throughout 2024-25. He finishes the season with averages of 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists over 41 games.

The Sixers (23-44) are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference standings.
