NBA League Pass: Los Angeles Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Game Preview (8 ET)

Despite losing their last game, the Timberwolves have won four of their last five matches. They beat the LA Clippers twice, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors in that span and are above .500 (12-11).

: After an incredible start to the season when they won 10 of their first 14 outings, the Lakers have gone 3-7 since then. Four of those losses have come by 25 points or more.

3. Slow-paced battle:

While these might look like high-powered offenses on the surface, both teams prefer to play at a slow tempo. Minnesota ranks 24th in pace, while Los Angeles sits 20th. That slow pace has the Lakers sitting 18th in points scored, and the Timberwolves ranked 20th.
