The 76ers currently sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 1-6 record as the team can’t seem to catch a break to begin the season. Just as Paul George returned from a knee issue, they lost Tyrese Maxey to a hamstring injury, all while Joel Embiid has remained out and is yet to make his season debut. They’ll be faced with the task of taking on a 4-4 Lakers team who is looking to get back on track after losing two straight, but are returning home to The Staples Center after a five-game road trip.
